This is what customers like you have to say

The very first email every Lands’ End employee sees every day is our favorite, because it’s from a customer like you. We call it our Cup of Customer. Each day is a new message, a reminder of what matters most: you.

These notes motivate us to keep getting better. Because when you’re happy, we are, too. Since we take such joy in reading them, we’re sharing a few of our favorites. Want to share one of your own? Tag us on your favorite social platform.

In 1995, pregnant with my son and feeling the cold, I bought a real winter coat- - a Lands' End Stadium Squall Parka, suitable for a Northeasterner, transplanted from Chicago. It's a good thing I love that coat because it has proved itself indestructible. I've slept in it when the furnace was on the fritz, weathered thunderstorms and blizzards, cleared snow and ice off my car with the sleeves, laundered it 50 times or more, shared its warmth with one or more children snuggled with me within its voluminous folds, and delightedly found hidden treasure (a favorite lipstick, spare keys, and $80 one bitterly cold Hallowe'en) in its deep pockets. On Monday, in the course of running errands, I placed it elsewhere. It was just cold enough out to have it with me, just in case, and just warm enough that I carried it from store to store instead of wearing it. I searched everywhere, called all the stores, compulsively checked my closet over and over, hoping I'd been looking right at it, but not seeing it, all this time. I tried to console myself with the thought that someone would have a nice warm coat and that I really didn't need one so warm and impervious to weather. But I couldn't. My 21 years with my black beauty with 150 gram insulation and polartec fleece lining was the longest, most successful relationship I had. Today, after I called the last place I could think of where I might have left it, to no avail, I resigned myself to the next stages of loss and prepared to leave a fitting tribute on the Lands' End FB page. Then, I thought I would check one more place- - a seldom-used closet- - and there she was, in all her nylony, fleece glory. My coat! I flung my arms around her and I'm not ashamed to say a tear came to my eye. We haven't spent a moment apart since. Thank you, Land's End, for the kind of quality and value that endure!

Bravo to Lands End for advertising that they have sizes for EVERY body.

Thank you to Lands’ End customer service for being so awesome! I ordered my son his first-ever backpack with a monogram. I didn’t notice right away, but the monogram was off-center, so I opened an online chat with customer service. Phillip immediately set up an order for a replacement at no charge to arrive by the end of the week, in plenty of time for school. I called yesterday to check on it, and Tammy, who was also unbelievably nice, tracked the package. It arrived yesterday and is perfect. I so appreciate the sincere apologies and quick replacement. Lands’ End customer service reps are wonderful!
